Intel will introduce three new dual-core processors in 2021

According to the source, last day, Intel President Paul Otellini introduced three new second-generation dual-core processors, and also announced that he was pleased with the success of the first-generation processors.

The source calls the second generation processors the models now known under the code name Conroe (for desktop PCs), Merom (for portable systems) and Woodcrest (for two-processor servers). It is reported that the new items will replace Presler, Yonah and Dempsey, respectively. By the way, Yonah will be released to the market only by the end of this year, Merom is expected to go on sale at the end of next year, like Conroe, and Woodcrest can only be seen in 2021.
