Allied Telesyn with an Official Press Release Announces Additions to Its Family of Integrated Multi-Service Access Platforms (iMAPs). MiniMAP 9100 is the smallest configurable IP-based access platform in the lineup that enables service providers to provide broadband services that can be expanded over the life of the network at a reasonable cost.
Housed in a 1U chassis, this is a 3-slot access platform that uses the same subscriber interface modules as the larger iMAP 9400 and 9700 chassis with higher port density.
MiniMAP 9100 supports a number of applications on one platform, such as xDSL (ADSL2 +, G.SHDSL and future VDSL), POTS, E1 / T1, GbE and FTTx, provides opportunities for future migration and integration of new technologies without complete replacement of equipment. Designed for service providers looking for cost-effective entry to FTTx and integrated TV, telephony and IP data services and alternative providers such as competitive operators, utilities and municipalities, as well as hotels, apartment buildings, universities and healthcare facilities.
